The Unofficial SabMag Motorcycle Salvage Yard List V2.1

This list is a compilation of motorcycle salvage yards. It's specifically for the Magna and Sabre community, although it would probably be of interest to the biker community in general. With the outrageous price of dealer parts and the unavailability of certain discontinued parts, salvage yards represent a viable option in getting that hard -to-find or pay-through-the-nose part for your bike.

The list is edited by sliver who can be reached at sliver@stars.sfsu.edu. Please forward corrections, comments and suggestions to this email address. We are very interested in whether you had a good or poor experience with a salvage yard. That is the type of info that would go right into the list.

Anyone who wants to take it on themselves to go through entries and really dig for complete info (eg- how many Magnas and Sabres, whether they ship UPS, whether they take phone orders, et cetera) would be very GREATLY* appreciated.

For identification purposes, this list is dated: 1 May 1996. This is sort of a fledging list. It got started on 10 Dec 1995 on the SabMag Mailing list as the result of one nameless biker's misfortune with pavement. :-(
